Personal Security Sentinel

En ny og falsk antispyware-applikation kendt som Personal Security Sentinel har inficeret mange PCer over hele verden. Dette falske program er særligt farligt, idét mange uerfarne PC-ejere ikke er i stand til at identificere dets skadelige karakteristika. Man bør aldrig stole på Personal Security Sentinel, da det er designet og distribueret af berygtede IT-kriminelle.

Personal Security Sentinel spreder sig som en virus via forklædte trojanske heste. Disse trojanere distribueres af ulovlige websider med interesser i Personal Security Sentinel-bedrageriet. Først nedbryder Personal Security Sentinel systemets sikkerhedsanordninger, så den skaber en bagdør, som andre trusler kan benytte til at inficere PCen.

Kort efter at Personal Security Sentinel har inficeret PCen, begynder brugeren at modtage irriterende popup-meddelelser, der beretter om aggressive infektioner af hans/hendes PC. Både disse beskeder samt de infektioner, de beretter om, er falske. Dette er udelukkende en skræmmetaktik, som Personal Security Sentinel benytter sig af for at få brugeren til at tro, at hans/hendes PC er under angreb og gå i panik. Men dette er simpelthen usandt, idét Personal Security Sentinel ikke yder nogen form for beskyttelse og ikke kan fjerne nogen infektioner eller beskytte nogen PC.

De brugere, som sætter pris på deres PC´s gode helbred, bør fjerne Personal Security Sentinel øjeblikkeligt. Den eneste måde hvorpå man kan fjerne Personal Security Sentinel helt og aldeles fra sit system, er ved at benytte sig af effektive, kraftfulde og ægte sikkerhedsværktøjer.
